Here's our first podcast, with Tim Malloch of www.pushonnorth.com. We met Tim in Guachochi, Chihuahua, Mexico and spent a delightful day riding to a Copper Canyon overlook.

Randy and Nancy: It is great to listen to this first issue of your podcast! Great interview! I read about the Chagas Disease, and Tim is right, it is little known and it is a crime in my humble opinion not to talk about it. The beetle which transmit the disease is called Vinchuka, a black beetle which lingers on ceilings over beds and lands on the unsuspecting victims to feed on blood. Keep an eye on it! I have a question for Tim, on behalf of fellow bike tourists: Did he take the Darien pass or did he do the coast? I would recommend you that you get familiar with spanish and get a map in spanish while you are there, in case you need to ask a local for directions. Again, great show, keep it up! I just mentioned your show on show #13 of my podcast. Gabriel Sierra Bike Tourist Podcast
